Spring in the streets

The streets of Paris have seen a lot of protesters during this 2016 spring, despite the emergency state in France since the attacks of november 13 in Paris.

The object of these demonstrations (11 before the summer) is the abrogation of the labour law, the "El Khomry" law (from the name of the labour minister.

Syndicalists, students, far left and anarchists, all of them are there in the streets and finally, demonstration after demonstration, the situation became more and more violent with tensions between protesters and police forces.

Something new also this spring, the birth of a new movement : Nuit Debout. During several weeks, Place de la Republique, hundreds of people are talking about a different way to do politics and to see the society. But there will be no leader emerging from this movement and it will slowly disapear (at least the visible part) before the summer.
