South Sudan : War, Famine, Rebels

Nuers are rebels, they are at war and they are hungry. We have been in South Sudan, a six years old nation, to see this folk which is governed by its militia composed by young people and which have decided to fight againstthe government at the expense of an open sky tragedy. Face to enemy troops advancing, it’s an exodus toward Ethiopia, starvation and a call to arms. This photo essay dealths with the fate of civilians, gathered under trees, thrown out the roads or forced to take up arms to survive. It’s also the story of a resistance.
