Le pays de la terre qui brûle - The country of the burning land.

Le pays de la terre qui brûle.

« Lundi 19 avril 2004.

The country of the burning land.

« Monday  April 19, 2004.
At 10.00 A.M,  the sirens sounded throughout Israel to celebrate the day of remembrance of the martyrs and heroes of the Holocaust. Everything stops for two minutes. Cars, buses, pedestrians freeze where they are. It is very impressive. I am a grandson of martyrs of the Holocaust ,and I think now is what dictates much of my work.
It is a quest on my identity, my roots with many questions. This work will  perhaps give the answers I was looking for a long time. "
