Invisible Muslims

Invisible muslims
With the upcoming presidential election, certain issues in society have been taken up for purely political reasons, often pandering to common prejudice. Amongst these, is a polemic that Islam,  France’s second religion, is incompatible with the notion of the “Republique". Harnessing their faith and their citizenship, believers fight against radicalisation; developing a dialogue between different faiths, trying to respond to the needs of the young. It’s a far cry from the cliché of some fantasised Islam.
